About me
Hello, and welcome. As you’ve probably gathered by now my name is Stephan Muller, and I’m a front-end developer from The Netherlands. I graduated in the summer of 2010 as a bachelor at Communications & Multimedia Design at the HAN in Arnhem, The Netherlands. Currently I work for Dinkgreve Solutions BV where I write and review HTML and CSS for websites we build for customers, as well as related tasks like social media, usability and SEO for some of our own and our sister companies’ websites.
Interests
I’m usually to be found online on a daily basis, and have spent many hours staring at a computer screen ever since I was a little kid. My passion goes out to building the front-end for websites; more specifically I’m interested in creating a nice user interface using clean, valid and semantically correct HTML and CSS and expanding the user experience using JavaScript and fancy CSS3 where necessary.
Apart from the nerd-stuff my hobbies go out to watching movies, listening to music (mainly, but not limited to rock and metal) and drumming. In case you want to know a little more about my preferences check out my last.fm page or my iCheckMovies account. The nickname Litso I use there was inspired by the book and movie A Clockwork Orange, which may give you a little sneek peek into my taste.
This website
I’ve had several weblogs before, but somehow I always seem to end up forgetting about them over time. I created this website mainly to be able to display an online portfolio, the website itself being one of it’s main pieces. I’ve created the design of this site using HTML5 and CSS3 as a good example of how I would idealistically like to make websites.
The weblog I’ll be using to post about anything I find online I think is interesting enough to share. Sometimes this will be funny web comics or iPhone apps I really really like, but mostly it’ll be about HTML, CSS, usability, SEO and other website-related stuff. Feel free to follow or ignore my RSS feed.
If there’s anything you want to share with me, leave a comment on my blog somewhere or contact me at mail@stephanmuller.nl. You can also find me on Twitter, App.net, LinkedIn and sporadically on Google+.
